Booking Appointments and Ordering prescriptions online

We are pleased to announce that patients are now able to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and leave messages via the internet using our online booking service.

You can also book appointments at surgeries and clinics at both sites by phoning 01904 724343. If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment please inform reception. Appointments can also be booked online by clicking the following link:

Appointments with a doctor:

• Some early morning and early afternoon appointments may be booked up to 3 weeks in advance. For all other appointments patients should ring on the day on which they wish to be seen.
• We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
• Advice calls with a doctor are available throughout the day. A doctor will telephone you, on your request, to give you advice at any time during the day.
  

Appointments with a nurse:

• Generally appointments may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance, although there are a few same day slots available. Please phone for details.
  

Home visits:

• Patients are encouraged to attend the surgery but if a home visit is absolutely necessary please call the surgery before 10.00am

Time Lost Through Missed Appointments

As you can see from this document, as a Practice we lose over 30 hours each month through missed appointments.  Making it more difficult for Patients to make appointments.

If you are unable to attend for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by telephoning the surgery, ideally 2 days before.
