The Million Women Study

Our practice is participating in this study to asses disease suspectibility in women aged 50 and over in the UK.

Between 1996 and 2001 over 1.3 million women across the UK joined the study.  It is the largest study of its kind in the world and involves one woman in four in the UK.  The study is co-ordinated by researchers at the Cancer Research UK Epidemiology Unit in Oxford.
