Mission Statement

The aim of Jorvik Medical Practice is to deliver and meet the requirements of our specific patient population at a local level.

Jorvik Medical Practice offers a high standard of patient care and is committed to health promotion and disease management and prevention.

Patient GP care is provided by eight partners, one salaried GP and one GP Registrar. The development of an integrated nursing team, including Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Community Midwife, Health Visitors and District Nursing Team, has enhanced the range of services offered and benefits patients through more flexible access to a greater skill base.

The practice is also committed to an educational role, as an accredited vocational training practice and teaching partner with HYMS.
